Each week, we are going to start this series by analyzing each division’s bullpens – and a deep dive is what we hope for. It’s easy enough to find out who we think or expect the closer to be, but what if we are desperate for saves? Who is the next person up, and who’s the dark horse in each of these situations?
We also want to use this column to check the temperature of the current climate of the bullpen on a consistent – is the closer locked in? Is he on shaky footing? Is this a time-share situation? Are there any young guns in the minors we need to be worried about?
