Crossed Up: Outfield Prospects on the Rise
FTN's Eric Cross looks at some deeper outfield prospects who could rise in status over the course of the MLB season.
After discussing several infield prospects to target in dynasty leagues who could rise into my top 25 overall rankings this season last week, I’m heading to the outfield today with eight more great names. All eight names listed below are outside my top 50 overall right now, with a few outside my top 100 as well. And the one thing that all eight have in common is the upside to rise up rankings in a major way this season.
Spencer Jones, New York Yankees
Given his size, raw power and the name on the front of the jersey, it’s fairly easy to comp Spencer Jones to Aaron Judge. Let’s take a step back and not compare a prospect who was drafted eight months ago to the man who just set the American League single-season home run record....
