The final week of the regular season is difficult to sort through, given the wide range of outcomes from player to player. Although most teams are trying to win, the motivation factor for individual players differs, especially if some have nothing to play for. This might also change their fantasy football outlook.

 

In this article, we’re looking at what players have the most to gain in Week 18 by looking at statistical milestones, contract incentives and records.

Week 18 Statistical Milestones Player Might Be Chasing

Davante Adams needs 5 receptions to reach 100 on the season. He averages 5.94 receptions per game and has logged 5-plus catches in 10 out of 16 games. Adams had 7 receptions in his first game with Jarrett Stidham.

A.J. Brown needs 99 receiving yards to reach 1,500 on the season. He averages 87.56 receiving yards per game and 85.72 receiving yards with Jalen Hurts (14 games). Brown has logged 99-plus receiving yards in nine of 16 games.

Amari Cooper needs 91 receiving yards to reach 1,200 on the season. He averages 69.31 receiving yards per game and 63.4 receiving yards with Deshaun Watson (five games). Cooper has logged 91-plus receiving yards in five of 16 games and had his first game with 100-plus receiving yards with Watson in Week 17.

Dalvin Cook Week 18 NFL Player Incentives

Dalvin Cook is 111 scrimmage yards from 1,500 on the season. He averages 89.44 scrimmage yards on the season and has logged 111-plus scrimmage yards in five of 16 games.

Derrick Henry is 71 rushing yards from 1,500 on the season. He averages 95.27 rushing yards per game and 153.33 rushing yards without Ryan Tannehill (three games). Henry has logged 71-plus rushing yards in 11 of 15 games. Henry also needs 193 scrimmage yards to reach 2,000 on the season.
