One of the best-kept secrets in fantasy football drafts is that you can use site ADP to your advantage on your commissioner platform. Invariably, those who do not prepare in your leagues will lean heavily on the site ADP to make their selections. If you know where the value gaps lie in that site’s ADP, you can take advantage of the market and dominate your drafts.

You can and should use this approach on ever commissioner platform. It may seem like a small edge but take any advantage you can get on your opponents in fantasy football drafts. To show you an example, here are some of the best players to target at current ADP on Sleeper.

1. Leonard Fournette, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

ADP 3.01 (RB14)

Fantasy managers seem to have a love/hate relationship with Leonard Fournette, and that hasn’t been helped by stories of him being overweight in the offseason. That’s good for us, as Fournette’s stock has dipped into the third round of drafts. He’s coming off a top-10 fantasy season and there’s no reason to think that he can’t repeat that performance given the Bucs’ current backfield. Fournette has shed some of the excess weight as camp has opened and he’s set up for another heavy workload this season.

2. Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

ADP 3.02 (WR9)

Yes, Chris Godwin avoided the training camp PUP, and the Bucs also signed a late-career Julio Jones, but Mike Evans is the Bucs receiver to roster this season. Not only does he have a staggering string of eight-straight 1,000-yard seasons, but he’s also racked up a whopping 27 receiving scores over the last two years with Tom Brady under center.

3. Cam Akers, RB, Los Angeles Rams

ADP 3.11 (RB17)

Haters will say Cam Akers was extremely inefficient in the playoffs last year. They aren’t wrong, but that isn’t the area of Akers’ playoff performance that deserves our attention. In four games, Akers saw 76 touches. He was just six months removed from a devastating Achilles injury, which could account for the efficiency issues, but that volume is telling. The Rams have essentially no competition for Akers in their backfield, meaning he’s set up for huge volume this season.

4. DJ Moore, WR, Carolina Panthers

ADP 4.12 (WR18)

Sure, he’s only scored four touchdowns in each of the last three seasons. But he’s also topped 1,100 yards in each of those years. Baker Mayfield may not be a massive upgrade at quarterback, but he is better than what DJ Moore has had in the past three seasons. And at this price, you could be getting Moore as your third receiver.

5. Amari Cooper, WR, Cleveland Browns

ADP 5.04 (WR20)

This ADP could move based on Deshaun Watson’s suspension (or lack thereof). But Amari Cooper is a solid value here regardless of the outcome for Watson. Cooper is another player who fantasy managers love to hate, and that’s fine. Let them. In Cleveland, he’s essentially cemented in as the No. 1 wideout with very little competition for targets. Even with Jacoby Brissett under center, a 25% target share will produce WR2 numbers.

6. Allen Robinson, WR, Los Angeles Rams

ADP 6.02 (WR28)

He’s coming off an ugly season, but Allen Robinson will get to play with a good quarterback for the first time in his career. Yes, he’ll be second fiddle to Cooper Kupp, but there’s more than enough meat on the bone for him to see WR2 volume. That’s a solid discount at this price.

7. Ken Walker, RB, Seattle Seahawks

ADP 7.03 (RB35)

Yes, I know that Rashaad Penny is going to see 20 carries again according to recent reports. But, come on. That number just isn’t reasonable. We also can’t simply ink him into the lead back role. Not only is Penny notoriously injury prone, but the Seahawks also spent an early Day 2 pick on Ken Walker in April’s draft. A top-two prospect at the position, Walker has the look of a volume early-down back. While he may not be the lead early the season, the cream has a way of rising in the NFL. He could be one of this season’s second-half stars.

8. Rashod Bateman, WR, Baltimore Ravens

ADP 7.08 (WR34)

With Marquise Brown out of the mix, Rashod Bateman is now the de facto No. 1 wideout in Baltimore. Sure, Mark Andrews remains the top target, but Bateman is a good bet for triple-digit targets even in the Ravens’ run-heavy scheme. With the high ceiling he flashed in his rookie ceiling, Bateman is a nice value in this range.

9. Gabriel Davis, WR, Buffalo Bills

ADP 7.12 (WR36)

This one was a little surprising. While fantasy analysts seem to be all over Gabriel Davis, the drafting public isn’t quite there. Expect that to change over the next month. However, if it doesn’t, Davis screams value in the seventh round.

10. Treylon Burks, WR, Tennessee Titans

ADP 8.01 (WR37)

Offseason narratives painted Treylon Burks as a bust before he even stepped foot on an NFL field. Don’t believe the hype. Tennessee essentially traded away A.J. Brown for Burks (yes, there was also Brown’s future contract status at play), and Burks should step right into Brown’s role in the offense. A big-bodied playmaker, Burks is positioned well to lead the Titans receivers right from the gate. Better yet, we’ll likely get him at a discount thanks to all of those narratives.

11. Chris Olave, WR, New Orleans Saints

ADP 9.04 (WR46)

Michael Thomas managed to get back on the field for the Saints, but the receiver with the most upside in New Orleans is the rookie Chris Olave. A silky-smooth route runner with 4.3 wheels, Olave has the ability to make plays all over the field. He gives Jameis Winston a downfield target, as we know that Winston loves to chuck the ball downfield.

12. Trey Lance, San Francisco 49ers

ADP 9.12 (QB14)

The lone quarterback on the list, Trey Lance enters 2022 dripping with upside as the 49ers’ unquestioned starter. Even if he isn’t the next coming of Steve Young on the field for San Francisco, he can still be a strong fantasy asset. Like Jalen Hurts last season, Lance’s ability as a runner and upside as a passer make him a strong bet to outplay this ADP.

13. Allen Lazard, WR, Green Bay Packers

ADP 10.02 (WR48)

While rookie Christian Watson has gotten a lot of attention from fantasy drafters, Allen Lazard has flown under the radar. However, the veteran is arguably Aaron Rodgers top incumbent receiver. Having existing chemistry with Rodgers should not be understated. While Lazard is far from a sure thing, his price is too cheap not to like.

14. Dameon Pierce, RB, Houston Texans

ADP 11.02 (RB45)

Fantasy managers love themselves some Marlon Mack and no one knows why. Mack hasn’t done anything for fantasy purposes in almost a half-decade and there’s no reason to expect that to change this season. Meanwhile, Dameon Pierce was a playmaking dynamo with three-down ability for Florida last year. He’s the top candidate to be the sneaky deep rookie running back to emerge on the fantasy scene this year.

15. Tyler Allgeier, RB, Atlanta Falcons

ADP 12.08 (RB48)

This ADP could certainly rise in the coming weeks after reports of Tyler Allgeier possibly taking over the starting job emerged. However, he’ll still be on the board for a long time when your draft day rolls around. Allgeier isn’t superstar athlete, but he does have the size to handle a full workload. He also has a clear path to lead duties, as Cordarrelle Patterson just doesn’t profile as a 15-plus carry guy.
