This article uses data from Best Ball Mania IV drafts as of March 3.

This article is not necessarily about the BEST best ball stacks, but the easiest to pull off based on ADP (but all of these stacks are good).

4 Easy Stacks in Early 2024 Underdog Best Ball Drafts

San Francisco Mega Stack

Christian McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Brock Purdy

Take some or all. CMC goes first overall, Aiyuk (2.09) and Deebo (2.12) are often both there at the 2-3 turn. Kittle is harder to get from this position, as you have to have him slide a little in order to land him (his ADP is 6.07). But then Purdy’s ADP is right at the 8-9 turn (8.11). This mega stack mostly falls into your lap.

This stack has a high ceiling and likely a ton of consistency given that you’re drafting the entire offense of one of the best offenses in the league. Ride or die with SF.

Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Jake Ferguson

CeeDee Lamb WR Dallas Cowboys

Lamb usually goes second or third overall, while Dak’s ADP (77th overall) is exactly three cycles later (7.03). Then Ferguson lands another two rounds after that (8.09).

This is a fantastic stack, and it’s nice you don’t have to reach to make it happen.

Miami Dolphins

Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Tua Tagovailoa

Hill is being drafted fourth overall, and Waddle is nearly always there when the Hill drafter picks again in Round 3 (Waddle’s ADP is 3.10, precisely two rounds after Hill gets drafted). Tagovailoa is easy for the Dolphins drafters to take later, as his ADP is 107.7 (9.11).

This stack has one of the highest weekly ceilings in all of best ball, and you don’t have to reach for any of the picks.

Detroit Lions

Jared Goff QB Detroit Lions

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam LaPorta, Jameson Williams, Jared Goff

Amon-Ra (1.07), LaPorta (3.05), Williams (9.06) and Jared Goff (10.06) all go right in the middle of their respective rounds, making this mega stack not too difficult to pull off.

The challenge is that you’ll miss out on the running game, as Jahmyr Gibbs goes at the end of the first round. You’re unlikely to get both Gibbs and St. Brown. But loading up on the Lions passing attack is easy to do in these early drafts and is a good idea. If you make it to the best ball playoffs, you just need a down game for Gibbs and a shootout for the passing attack to shoot up the rankings.
