With Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined, it was Dame time in Milwaukee, as Lillard scored 35 first-half points in a victory. It was strange to see him not score once in the second half, though Milwaukee was mostly in cruise control. Antetokounmpo is doubtful for Game 2 and with Lillard posting a usage rate north of 33% in Game 1, he should be in line for plenty of volume once again. And we know a matchup with Indiana’s defense is one of the best in all of basketball.

2. The Mavericks allowed a 64.4% field goal percentage at the rim this season

That was the ninth-highest rate in the league, and if you watched Game 1 between the Mavericks and Clippers, you wouldn’t be surprised. Ivica Zubac dominated Dallas’ frontcourt, scoring 20 points to go along with 15 rebounds. With Kawhi Leonard sidelined, it helped solidify Zubac’s minutes, as he played just over 33. Zubac is averaging 1.19 fantasy points per minute with Leonard off the floor over the course of the season so if he remains sidelined, it is hard not to love the Los Angeles center again. Zubac posted 10 paint touches in Game 1, while also seeing 6.0 post-ups.

3. Terance Mann played 39 minutes last game

Staying with the Clippers, Mann would project as one of the best value plays of the slate if Leonard is once again sidelined. Mann started in Leonard’s absence, logging 39 minutes as part of an eight-man rotation for the Clippers. He only averaged a middling 0.75 fantasy points per minute with Leonard off the floor over the course of the season, but he did flirt with 30 fantasy points last game, which would certainly get the job done at his current price.

4. Patrick Beverley averaged 5.76 seconds per touch last game

Beverely drew the start in Game 1, logging nearly 30 fantasy points in 37 minutes. He did a little bit of everything, scoring just five points but adding seven rebounds, eight assists and a pair of steals. His 5.76 seconds per touch was actually ahead of Lillard’s, while recording almost 70 touches in the game. With Antetokounmpo listed as doubtful, Beverely should find himself in a similar role in a great matchup with the Pacers.

5. The Milwaukee Bucks allowed the fifth-most made three-pointers per game to opposing centers this season (1.16)

That makes this a pretty interesting spot for Myles Turner, who attempted nine triples in Game 1, connecting on three of them. He attempted 17 field goals and only hit five shots, but I like the volume and this matchup is undeniably better without Giannis on the floor for Milwaukee. In six games against the Bucks over the course of the season, Turner is averaging nearly six three-point attempts per game.
