The 2023 season rolls into the final race with very little drama. The constructor and driver champion was determined weeks ago, as was second and third in the driver standings. You have to look to fourth to find a battle that is unresolved. Carlos Sainz Jr., Fernando Alonso and Lando Norris all have a shot to finish fourth. The constructor’s standings have a bit more up in the air with a battle for second, fourth and seventh undecided headed into the final race.

Max Verstappen has won 18 of the season’s 21 races and looks to finish a thoroughly dominant season with a win in the United Arab Emirates. He claimed his 12th pole position earlier today and will likely dominate this race yet again.

CPT

Charles Leclerc- Leclerc has put himself firmly into the best of the rest. He should hold onto the second position throughout the race and has a huge gap between him and his teammate.

Lando Norris- I expect there to be some team orders to help Norris secure the podium finish and fourth overall in points. Piastri may yield to his teammate.

Driver

In addition to the above drivers, these can be played in the Driver spots…

Max Verstappen- Verstappen will win unless he has a DNF. That just hasn’t happened this season. His salary is just so prohibitive when looking at him for Captain.

Fernando Alonso- The salary is very suppressed compared to the first three months of the year. He should get into the top 6 and is battling for that fourth place in points.

George Russell- If a driver is going to unseat Norris and Leclerc from the podium, it will likely be either Perez or George Russell. Russell should beat his teammate and keep his car inside the top 5 all day.

Alexander Albon- Albon starts seventh and is a betting favorite to keep it in the top 10. He should easily beat his teammate.
