NBA Best Bets of the Day (12/18)

Sunday is a football day, but we do still have seven NBA games starting with the Celtics and Magic at 3 p.m. ET. The main slate of five games starts at 6 p.m. ET.

It is not a lot of games, but we do have some playable edges. Here are my three best bets for Sunday’s NBA slate.

Best NBA Spread Prop Bet

Toronto Raptors -5.5

(-110 BetMGM)

The Raptors catch the Warriors without both Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins today. Curry is a massive positive for both pace and scoring. Wiggins is a positive on both ends of the floor. This Warriors team is way weaker without them on offense and defense. This is the fourth straight road game for the Warriors, coming off losses of at least six points or more to Milwaukee, Indiana and Philadelphia in the last three.

Best NBA Points Prop Bet

Kelly Oubre OVER 14.5 points

(+100 FanDuel)

Sure the Hornets are getting healthy, but after a handful of 20+ point games, Kelly Oubre has cemented himself a role. His minutes probably end up a tad above 30, instead of a tad below 40, but losing 25% of time and production when a guy was consistently topping 20 points only means he projects for 15 or more still, which is a cash at 14.5.

Best NBA Rebound Prop Bet

Pascal Siakam OVER 7.5 rebounds

(-134 BetRivers)

This has been bet up, but it’s still a massive value. We project Pascal Siakam well over 10 rebounds today, so at 7.5 this is too good to pass up. FanDuel has this at +114 for 8.5 rebounds too, which is worth a play. I prefer to take the lower number here, though, as this price is the best left at the opening number.
