The first word that comes to mind when thinking about this week's NFL DFS slate is "gross." Yes, theoretically there could be some fun, high-scoring fantasy games. But the only one that looks like it is the Detroit-Minnesota game, which will be chalk city.

 

We have a few games with one team expected to blow out the other and then some lower total games that may turn into field goal fests.

With this type of slate combined with a good number of teams on bye, the chalk generally stems from plays being viewed as "safe and not terrible" rather than very high point-per-dollar due to injuries or just lazy pricing. 

On weeks like this, I generally like to fade the chalk and focus on a few random low-rostered players I like. That certainly doesn't...
