The Pittsburgh Steelers added a running back Tuesday, signing RB Kalen Ballage to a one-year deal, per ESPN’s Field Yates.

The 25-year-old Ballage was the fourth-round pick of the Miami Dolphins in the 2018 draft. He got his first extended playing time in 2019, where he managed only 1.8 yards per carry over 74 attempts. After briefly landing with the Jets to start 2020, he finished the season with the Chargers, where he had 84 and 102 scrimmage yards in Weeks 9 and 10 before falling back behind the returned-from-injury Austin Ekeler the rest of the way.
