Seven months without football is a long time. When we finally get to NFL’s opening week, we’re all starved for football. And then we get overloaded with 16 games and all types of crazy stuff happening. It’s easy to overreact to what happens in Week 1. 

We all do it. 

But the NFL season is a marathon, not a sprint. A lot of what we saw last week really doesn’t indicate anything about what we can expect in 2023.
