We’ve seen a lot of money dished out to free agent players, including several big-time shortstops such as Trea Turner, Carlos Correa and Xander Bogaerts. Three players picked up contracts of at least 11 years and at least $280M, and that’s not including Aaron Judge, who signed a nine-year $360M deal with the New York Yankees. Judge isn’t included in this article, as I’ve focused on players who will wear new jerseys in the 2023 season.
