Week 5 ends the first third of the fantasy season, giving us a nice sample size to project future production. This also signals the start of the most critical time of the year: Weeks 6 to 10. This time period is not only critical to player production but also to team success. Therefore, this is the ideal buying time for investors at Mojo.
Mojo is a whole new pure sports investment, based on athletes. The share price is the public’s expectations for a player’s career based on six objective stats. A player’s value can be greatly affected by the result of a small subset of games.
On Tuesday, I identified three players who provided the opportunity for a quick profit in Week 5. This week, I have identified two players that will have fantastic opportunities to increase their value during Weeks 6-10. Here are three investment opportunities during a pivotal five weeks of the upcoming NFL season.
Jeff Wilson, RB, San Francisco 49ers

Jeff Wilson is only 26 years old and is entering the easiest opposing schedule for running backs. San Francisco plays Atlanta, Kansas City, the Rams and Arizona, nestled around their Week 9 bye week. It’s hard to find a more favorable group of opponents as a rusher, with Atlanta (29th) and Kansas City (20th), ranking near the bottom in run defense DVOA per Football Outsiders.
Wilson has seen a 67% or better snap share each of the past two weeks, continuing Kyle Shanahan’s tradition of giving one running back the majority of touches. Wilson has seen 48 carries the past three weeks, ranking 14th at the position.
The most difficult matchup during this time is against the Rams, who rank fifth-best against the run. However, Wilson just found success on the ground against Los Angeles with 74 yards on 4.1 yards per carry in Week 4. His volume is secure, in four games that should be very competitive.
Wilson is still young and should continue to thrive in this offense as the lead rusher in an offense that ranks sixth in rushing attempts per game. Investors should consider buying Wilson’s stock at Mojo, with a chance for a new all-time high exiting Week 10.
Gabe Davis, WR, Buffalo Bills

How quickly did we forget about Gabe Davis?
The 23-year-old Buffalo wideout was a popular breakout wide receiver candidate entering the 2022 season, after his incredible four-touchdown playoff game against Kansas City. After a solid Week 1 outing against the Rams (four receptions, 88 receiving yards, TD), Davis battled an ankle sprain for the next three games. He did not play in Week 2 and produced four receptions and 50 total receiving yards the past two contests.
However, Davis practiced in full Wednesday, the first time since Sept. 17. The Bills now begin a five-game stretch against an inviting slate of opponents. Buffalo will face Pittsburgh, Kansas City, the Jets and Minnesota in the upcoming weeks, with a Week 7 bye. With veteran wideout Jamison Crowder headed to the injured reserve, and Isaiah McKenzie still battling a concussion, Davis is now one of the healthiest receiving options on the team.
I project Davis to return to his expected level of production, receiving an even higher target share than normal. His price at Mojo has dropped 3.1% over the last month, providing a fantastic buying opportunity. Davis could provide consistent Top 12 wide receiver performances during the heart and soul of the NFL season. I project his price to reach a new career-high prior to Buffalo’s Week 11 battle with the Browns.
