The first month of the baseball season is in the rearview mirror. With five months remaining, we are seeing a lower average in the remaining FAAB budget than in previous seasons when heading into May. Fantasy owners are not shy about shelling out triple-digit bids for closers, and the supply and demand for outfielders is causing a bit of a frenzy. Now that we’re in the month of May there will likely be more buzz about top prospects being called up. The prospect component will provide some more toppings on our FAAB pizza. We only have so much money to spend so managing it wisely will play a factor come September.
